Trainline, Kombo and Omio create ADN Mobilités to defend the interests of independent train ticket retailers

Trainline, Kombo and Omio are founding ADN Mobilités, the French association of digital platforms for the distribution of transport and mobility tickets, to call for regulation that lets independent players grow and innovate for the benefit of rail passengers.

Competition in rail transport means more freedom of choice, but also a greater need for passengers to be supported with accurate information on fares, possible routes, travel conditions and after-sales service. Yet today in France, not all the conditions are in place for independent train ticket retailers to fully carry out their business.

In response, ADN Mobilités aims to defend, protect and promote the development of independent digital ticket distribution platforms in France. The association intends to work towards changing the Mobility Orientation Law (LOM) and correcting the distortions of competition between rail operators and independent ticket retailers.

The association will also represent the national and international professional interests of its members, in particular before public authorities and regulators, both in France and abroad. To this end, it has the broadest powers to defend its own interests or those of its members collectively, in all circumstances and whenever necessary (legal action, mediation, settlement, etc.).

The board of the association is made up of Matthieu Marquenet, President of Kombo (President), Alexander Ernert, Director of European Public Affairs at Trainline (General Delegate), and Sébastien Sablong, Senior Commercial Director at Omio (Treasurer).
